My Mom requested I post some of the artwork that the children in my kids school have created in the fundraiser art project I'm coordinating. (Wow, long scentence. Is that even grammatically correct?) It has been a lot of fun to do this with the children and see what they come up with. The theme was mandalas with an emphasis on the center circle being something that had meaning to them - favorite animal, place, activity, etc. and the outer circle a paper mosaic. The youngest students I had do handprint fishes as they need a more structured and decided project.
Anyway, I chose some of my favorites and of course my own kids had to go up here for Nana.
On left is a preschool one and on right is Kindergarten.
Next, we have a 2nd grade example.
Third Grade - I like how she tried to match colors to picture
and border and do a pattern with the shapes:
Fifth Grade:
Sixth Grade - Cool design:

I haven't got all of 4th grade back yet, which is why John's is not here but I will post it later for you Mom! The grades not represented have not been done yet, but you get the idea.
Hope you enjoyed them!

Love those! Very cute. Children's art is my favorite art of all...it's all so expressive and colorful. It always makes me smile when my kids bring artwork home. Thanks for sharing! :)
