Baby number 6

Little Sarah Jane was born October 30th and weighed in at 7 lb 14.6 oz. She was 20 1/2 inches long, has blond hair just like John and Leyna did, though Leyna still wins the award for the most blond hair at birth, and she has the blue eyes as of yet as well. She has her Daddy's long fingers and toes and has a very calm and content temperment. She loves to look around at things when she is awake and she is certainly a healthy eater. :) This makes 4 girls for our family and 2 boys. We love them all and feel so blessed to have them. Nana came to help out and though she thinks she wasn't a lot of help, she really was - with the most important being playing with and loving the other children during this transition period. It was invaluable and the children all were happy and well taken care of. I'm so grateful for my Mom! (Also, I don't think one dish has been washed since she left. Doug is certainly not the homemaker!) Another thing my kids enjoyed was the fact that Nana was here for Halloween. What a fun day it was for them! They came and visited me and Sarah in the hospital all dressed in costume and off they went to trick or treat! Here are a few pictures:

Sarah Jane - 3 days old

Is that crocheted blanket not the most beautiful thing you ever saw! Two ladies in our church have the calling to make these baby blankets and this is the one I got! Gorgeous!

This is one of the only pictures you'll see of Jakey in his costume. He wore it for like 10 min. and then forget it. He wouldn't put it back on. :( Such a cute little lion too.
He is so my best buddy. Lots of hugs for lots of time away from each other. :)

Okay, so we have our original John with his "Master of spiders" costume, Rebecca was a devilish angel as she didn't want to appear too bad :), Katrina the mermaid, and Leyna of course had to be a princess.

Nana with Sarah and Leyna.

I love their smiles here!
