My Scientists

I love how creative my kids are. Rebecca and John were of course bored and so decided to create a game and create a world based of of plant/animal cells. Rebecca pulled out some old diagrams of cells she had done in school and they went about assigning different objects that would represent different parts of the cell and wrote down what their function would be in the game. Next, they made a game board and finally they decided to make the "world" or cell out of the parts and put in in Jello to hold it in place where they wanted it. I was so impressed with them. I told them how amazingly creative it was to learn about cells and they both were like "we are not learning, we are just playing a game!" Homeschooling at its finest!
